OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 12 series of smartphones earlier in January. Despite their recent release, rumors of their successors are already rampant. OnePlus 13 renders have recently surfaced online, raising some skepticism. OnePlus 13 & 13R design sketches have been obtained by gadget tipster Yogesh Brar.

OnePlus 13 and 13R could have some design differences, mostly in the camera department, according to the leaked sketches. According to the sketch, the OnePlus 13 will have a circular camera island, just like its predecessor. On the OnePlus 12, it touches the edges on the left side but could be moved to the center of the back.

OnePlus 13R’s leaked sketch depicts a square camera housing toward the top-left. On the other hand, it is not touching the smartphone’s edge. There are circular camera modules on both the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. They are located above the top-left corner of the device and are slightly merged with its right edge. In light of that, it appears that OnePlus is experimenting with different rear designs for its next-generation flagship phones.

OnePlus 13 may be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is also possible that the smartphone will have some on-device AI capabilities. Rather than an optical fingerprint scanner, the flagship will sport an ultrasonic sensor, according to rumor. It may have a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO micro-curved screen with a resolution of 2K.
