A new version of Samsung’s OneUI 6.1 software will be available to flagships by 2022 and 2021. On the Samsung Community website, a moderator announced that an update in May will bring One UI 6.1 with AI features to the Galaxy S22.

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 lineup, Z Fold4 and Flip4 foldables, and Tab S8 tablets will get One UI 6.1 with “Galaxy S23 FE-level AI”.

We won’t be as fortunate with Galaxy S21 phones and 2021 foldables. Even though One UI 6.1 is also coming in May, it will have limited AI features.

An early May update will be released for Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. All the cool features will be available for these devices, including Generative Edit, Live Translate, Summary, Circle to Search, etc.

The Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, Z Flip3, and Z Fold3 will follow later that month, with Circle to Search and Magic Rewrite only.

After crossing 100 million users at the end of March, Samsung’s Galaxy AI users will essentially have doubled to 200 million with the latest updates.
