Realme will unveil the Realme P1 5G and Realme P1 Pro 5G smartphones in India on April 15. On the same day, Realme will also unveil the Wi-Fi-only Realme Pad 2 alongside the P1 series.

The Realme Pad 2 was announced in July last year. The device was initially offered in two variants: a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. There was Wi-Fi and LTE support on both models. Currently, there is no confirmation about the configuration of the upcoming Wi-Fi-only variant. It’s likely costs around Rs 15,000, which is lower than the current base variant.

Design:

The Realme Pad 2’s bezels are moderately thick, striking a balance between being neither too thick nor too thin. On the right side of the device, there is a volume rocker and a power button.

At the top-left corner of the tablet’s back panel is a round camera with a dual-tone design. A single camera and an LED flash are housed in the camera module. Its bottom edge features a USB Type-C port positioned between two speakers.

Specs:

The Realme Pad 2 sport an 11.5-inch 2K IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. The front of the device has a 8MP camera, while the back has an 8MP camera. It comes with quad-speakers powered by Dolby Atmos support.

The tablet is reportedly powered by the Helio G99 chipset. It will be available in three configurations, with the top variant offering 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Featuring an 8,360mAh battery and fast charging capability of 33W, it will deliver a long battery life.

Realme Pad 2 runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0. The device will be available in Wi-Fi variants. The connectivity option includes Dual-Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.3 & USB Type-C port.
