Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is working on a new performance-oriented tablet, called the Redmi K70 Ultra after the Snapdragon 8s-powered Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone debuted recently in China. In contrast to the Redmi Turbo 3, this new device is rumored to feature a flagship MediaTek processor.

As of now, Weibo tipster 体验more has revealed some key details about the device. Redmi K70 Ultra is rumored to feature an upgraded Dimensity 9300+ chipset, the upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300, which made its debut in November 2023. Vivo X100s and X100s Pro are expected to launch in May with this new chip.

The report also mentions that the device will come with a 50-megapixel main camera, along with ultra-wide and macro sensors. It is said to have an OLED display with 1.5K resolution a dedicated graphics chip, which should make for good graphics and gaming. Additionally, the phone will feature 120W fast charging, a metal frame and glass back, and up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. There will also be a 5,500mAh battery on board.

While the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be available globally, the K70 Ultra will only be sold in China.
