On April 24, iQOO will launch its iQOO Z9 smartphone series in China. iQOO is expected to launch three models – the Z9, Z9x, and Z9 Turbo.

The specifications of these smartphones have been leaked by Ishan Agarwal, a reputable tipster (via 91mobiles).

iQOO Z9x:

According to the leak, there is a clear hierarchy within the Z9 series. Featuring a 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD display, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, and a 50MP main camera, the Z9x positions itself as a budget-friendly option.

There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack, 44W charging support, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

iQOO Z9 & iQOO Z9 Turbo:

On the other hand, the Z9 is expected to come with a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It will feature a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor, along with UFS 2.2 and LPDDR4X storage and memory. Both the Z9 and Z9 Turbo will get faster 80W charging and under-display fingerprint sensors.

Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the Z9 Turbo is the top of the line. Furthermore, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage will be available.

With an 8MP ultrawide lens replacing the secondary portrait sensor, the camera system is expected to receive a slight upgrade.

Battery capacity will be 6,000mAh for all three phones. All phones will run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. Although the design remains unconfirmed, the leak suggests all three models will have plastic back covers.
