In the coming weeks, the Poco F6 series of smartphones will be released. Poco F6 and F6 Pro are expected to debut in May in various markets. Another major announcement from the brand is its first tablet.

Europe’s EEC certification platform recently approved the Poco tablet with model number 2405CPCFBG. According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the tablet may be called the Poco Pad when it launches on X.

The Redmi Pad Pro tablet and the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone were recently launched in China by Redmi. Redmi’s Pad Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip.

Skrzypek’s X post indicates that the Redmi Pad Pro with the model number 2405CRPFDG and codename “dizi” will be released globally. There will be no cellular connectivity on the global version of the tablet, just like the Chinese version.

Moreover, the tipster revealed that the Poco tablet will be marketed as the Poco Pad in the global market. In terms of specifications, the Poco Pad will be the same as the Redmi Pad Pro.

Redmi Pad Pro:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad Pro comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel that supports 2560 × 1600 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display features a brightness of 600nits and  Dolby Vision support. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

 

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, fabricated by TSMC on a 4-nanometer scale. The device comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus and another with an 8MP Selfie camera on the front. The device weighs 571 grams and is 7.52 millimeters thick. The Redmi Pad Pro comes with a massive 10,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

The audio is played back by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. The Redmi Pad Pro comes with Android 14 OS with HyperOS on top. The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0.
