Vivo is back with another launch event but this time it is only for China. Yes, the new foldable from Vivo aka the Vivo X Fold3 is finally launching in China. Today, Vivo officially announced the launch date for the much-awaited Vivo X Fold3.

The new Vivo X Fold3 will launch in China on March 26 at 7:00 PM local time. The teaser also revealed the first look at the new Vivo X Fold3. From the image, we can see the Vivo X Fold3 will surely remind us of its predecessor aka Vivo X Fold2. We got the same old Oreo-shaped huge camera module on the back carrying triple cameras with Zeiss lens support and LED flash.

On the front, we have a huge secondary display with a punch-hole notch. Sadly, the inner design isn’t revealed at the moment.

Vivo X Fold3:

The new Vivo X Fold3 will sport a massive 8.03-inch internal QHD+ Samsung E7 AMOLED (2,480 x 2200p) LTPO 3.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There are secondary 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED (2748 x 1172 pixels) displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be protected by a crystal-ceramic glass layer and comes with dual ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

 

The new Vivo X Fold3 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space. It comes with a 50MP main Omnivision OV50H sensor, OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 40x zoom & OIS support. Both the internal as well as external display features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

Vivo’s self-developed V3 image chip powers the camera system, providing improved HDR and noise reduction. With Zeiss Cinematic mode, the X Fold3 can record up to 8K video at 30 frames per second.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It also features an IR blaster, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, a glass back, and an IPX8 certification.

The Vivo X Fold3 will pack a 5500 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging. It runs on Android 14 OS with Origin Ocean OS 4.0 on top.
