In Europe, Vivo has introduced the V40 SE 5G smartphone. With Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, it’s a lower-midrange device.

Vivo V40 SE:

Vivo V40 SE will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED E4 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Featuring 1,300 nits of brightness, 360Hz PWM dimming, and a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio.

The Vivo V40 SE is to be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Vivo V40 SE will come with a 50MP (f/1.89) main sensor with OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash.

There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole display. It also comes with a Dual-Tone flash. The Vivo V40 SE packs in a 5000 mAh battery with 44W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 on top. This time the device also gets an IP54 rating making it splash-resistant.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE support,  Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

There will be two colorways: Crystal Black and Leather Purple, the latter with a fake leather finish. In Crystal Black, the phone measures 163.17 x 75.81 x 7.79 mm, while in Leather Purple, it measures 7.99 mm thick. The weights are different as well: 185.5g for Crystal Black and 191g for Leather Purple.

We expect it to make its way to other European countries shortly as it currently appears on vivo’s pan-European and Austrian websites. As of right now, there is no pricing information available.
