Oppo recently launched the Reno 11 series smartphone globally. Online rumors are already surfacing about the Reno 12 series. A tipster has also revealed the specifications of an upcoming smartphone, though without specifying its name. Based on the leaked specs, we believe it is the same device as the Oppo Reno12 Pro.

It will feature a 6.7-inch display and the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as its Reno 11 counterpart, as well as the same curved glass design. The device will also feature the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that can handle 80W charging. As with the Reno12 Pro, it’s expected to offer 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The leak mentions a 50MP l front-facing camera and a triple-camera system at the back. This camera will feature a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom.

Despite the leak’s close alignment with previous information, there are some slight differences, especially in the charging specifications. Reno12 Pro leaks previously suggested 67W charging, but this one suggests 80W. These are early details about the device, so it’s best to take them with a grain of salt.

As for the launch, it is expected that the Reno12 series will be available in June 2024.
