With the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, Samsung is expanding its A series. Samsung’s Galaxy A55 5G has been listed on the Google Play Console revealing key details about the device.

Galaxy A55:

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A55 5G, model number SM-A556E, features the Exynos 1480 processor and the Samsung Xclipse 530 GPU. A phone with this combination is likely to have a high level of processing power. This device is listed with 8GB of RAM and is expected to run Android 14, although Samsung’s OneUI interface remains unspecified.

With a 6.5-inch Full HD display and a 13:6 aspect ratio, the smartphone delivers clear and detailed visuals. Its screen density is 450 DPI, promising sharp images.

The Google Play Console renders indicate a flat frame design, similar to the Galaxy A35 5G, indicating a consistent aesthetic across the A series. In addition to the 5000 mAh battery, the Galaxy A55 5G will also support 25W fast charging.

The device is expected to have three camera sensors, including a 50MP primary sensor. Along with a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The front camera is expected to be 32MP for high-quality selfies.

As the Galaxy A55 has already appeared on TENAA, NBTC, MIIT, FCC, TKDN, and SIRIM. It appears the brand may soon announce it globally. We can expect the Galaxy A55 to launch around next month, just as its predecessor, the Galaxy A54, did back in March 2023.
