In India and some Asian markets, iQOO unveiled the iQOO 12 flagship phone last month. The brand announced yesterday it will launch a Neo-branded smartphone in India soon. A new teaser confirms that the iQOO Neo9 Pro will be available in India in February.

There is a teaser for the iQOO Neo9 Pro showing a dual-tone design in red and white. The brand has yet to reveal the device’s specifications. The Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro were introduced by iQOO in December with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets, respectively. In India, the Chinese Neo9 will be rebranded as the iQOO Neo9 Pro.

There may be a non-Pro model in the works based on the arrival of the Neo9 Pro variant. It is unknown whether the iQOO Neo9 will be available in India at present.

iQOO Neo9 Pro:

The new iQOO Neo9 Pro sports 6.78 inches 1.5K AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rates and HDR10+ support. The iQOO Neo9 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. It measures 8.36mm thick and weighs 195g. iQOO’s self-developed Q1 chip could power these devices.

 

The new iQOO Neo9 Pro features dual-rear cameras with a 50MP main IMX920 sensor having an aperture of f/1.88 with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 with LED flash. The device uses a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.46. The iQOO Neo9 Pro 5G features an in-display fingerprint scanner with an AK4377A Hi-Fi chip and hi-res audio certification.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The new iQOO Neo9 Pro packs a 5160 mAh battery with 120W Super Flash Charge support. It runs on Android 14 with iQOO UI 4.0 on top.
