The second generation of the OnePlus smartwatch is reportedly in the works. In 2021, the brand debuted its first smartwatch. OnePlus Watch 2 renders surfaced in November last year. Reliable tipster Max Jambor has shared the device’s launch timeline. Next week, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 12 and 12R smartphones and Buds 3 TWS in global markets.

Max Jambor reports that the OnePlus Watch 2 will launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The MWC will begin on February 26 and end on February 29 this year. It is still unclear whether OnePlus will launch a smartwatch. As MWC approaches, we can expect the brand to start teasing the wearable device.

OnePlus Watch 2 is the successor to OnePlus Watch. On the upcoming offering, the renders reveal an updated design language. The device looks thick, with a metal chassis and a protrusion on the right side that houses physical buttons. There will be two colors available for the smartwatch: white and black.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is said to feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor. There will be all the necessary health sensors built into the wearable device. The OnePlus Watch 2 will also run on Google’s WearOS, according to Jambor.
