There are still months until the Google Pixel 9 series becomes official, but we now have a good idea of what it will look like. MySmartPrice shared some renders of the Pixel 9 Pro, but we have the very first peek at its smaller sibling, the Pixel 9. These high-resolution renders come from tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks. You can expect a design similar to the Pixel 9 Pro but with a more compact size.

Design:

In comparison to the Pixel 9 Pro, the Pixel 9 will be more compact. Based on the renders, the design appears very similar to the iPhone 15, with flattened sides. While the rear camera module has been redesigned, it still looks very much like a Pixel phone. There is also a Blue color option for the Pixel 9, which will most likely be followed by a few more.

As with the Pixel 8, the rear camera visor has a substantial protrusion, but it is shorter and does not extend edge-to-edge. For the first time on a vanilla Pixel phone, there will be three rear cameras. Currently, two unknown sensors and a telephoto lens are expected.

With a 6.1-inch flat display and a punch-hole camera in the middle, the Google Pixel 6 will feature a large display. According to OnLeaks, the Pixel 9 will measure 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm.

In the coming months, we can expect more details on the Pixel 9, including upgraded cameras, a new Tensor chipset, and AI capabilities. A new design and smaller display were also revealed for the Pixel 9 Pro.
