Leaked images of the Google Pixel 8a first appeared in November 2023. The device has been spotted again. Leaked retail boxes for the Pixel 8a have revealed key details about the upcoming smartphone.

A private Vietnamese Facebook group (via MySmartPrice) shared images of the retail box. We can see from the official packaging that the Pixel 8a has a similar design to the leaked renders we discussed earlier. It has rounded corners and a dual camera setup on the rear. The module retains the visor-like camera, as well as an LED flash. The Pixel 8a is available in black color.

The front of the device houses a punch-hole selfie camera aligned in the center. On the right side of the device, you’ll find the volume rockers and power buttons. Google Pixel 8a’s G6GPR model number was also revealed. According to the retail box, the handset will also support 27W wired fast charging. According to this leak, the device measures 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm.

The Pixel 8a is an upcoming mid-range model that will likely launch ahead of the flagship Pixel 9 series. It appears to be equipped with an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 processor. According to a GeekBench sighting, the smartphone scored 1218 points in the single-core test and 3175 points in the multi-core test.
