Xiaomi is working on the Pad 7 series of flagship tablets for the Chinese market, according to reports. Xiaomi unveiled the Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro, and Pad 6 Max in the Chinese market this year. Pro and Max models are exclusive to the Chinese market, while the standard model is available globally. Despite China receiving multiple Pad 7 series tablets in 2024, the global market will only receive the standard model. According to a new report, the Pro model will also be available outside of China.

GSMChina reports that the internal HyperOS build for the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has been spotted for the first time. According to reports, the Pad 7 Pro will be released globally based on the existence of a global build of HyperOS. The report does not reveal any details about the device’s specifications.

Xiaomi will announce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at a launch event in April 2024, according to reports. At the same event, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets are expected to be unveiled.

Specs:

Featuring a 10-inch Tianma panel, the device has the model number “N81A”. With a resolution of 1480×2367 and a refresh rate of 144Hz, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is expected to feature an LCD panel. The screen size has changed from the previous generation Pad 6 Pro’s 11-inch display.

As reported by Digital Chat Station earlier this year, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

GSMChina also suggests that the tablet will feature a quad-stereo speaker system, as its predecessor did. It is also expected that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will run Android 14-based HyperOS.
