In November, Vivo unveiled the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China. They both feature an OLED display with curved edges and a powerful Dimensity 9300 chip. The company’s lineup currently features two devices, but we’ve heard rumors about an affordable Vivo X100s.

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some details about the X100s. Its display will differ from its curved sibling if rumors are true. The screen will be 6.78 inches with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and it is expected to have a BOE 8T OLED panel.

Vivo X100s is expected to use the same Dimensity 9300 chip. There’s also a good chance it will have a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, perhaps at 120W or 80W.

A triple-lens camera is rumored to be on the back of the X100s. With a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, the main sensor could be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920. There is no word on the selfie camera, but it could inherit the X100’s 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone is also expected to be launched. As the top-of-the-line variant, it will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto lens that is said to support 200x digital zoom. Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X100s at an event in China in the first quarter of 2024.
