Vivo’s S18 series was just announced in its home market of China. Vivo’s new lineup includes the S18, S18 Pro, and S18e. Compared to its premium siblings, the Vivo S18e offers an affordable alternative packed with features.

Vivo S18 Pro:

The new Vivo S18 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo S18 Pro with Dimensity 9200+ SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.

Vivo S18 Pro features a 50MP main IMX920 sensor with an OIS coupled with a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor. There is a 12MP IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom having an aperture of f/1.98. On the front, it features a massive 50MP selfie shooter.

According to Vivo, the S18 series is equipped with Vivo’s Blue Heart AI model, which can enhance portrait photography.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support,  Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The device also comes with IP54 rating.

It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 188g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.

Vivo S18:

The new Vivo S18 will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo S18 is now powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space.

 

Vivo S18 features a 50MP OmniVision OV50E sensor, f/1.88 aperture with an OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it ships with a massive 50MP selfie shooter with dual soft LED flash.

 

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support,  Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

Vivo S18e:

The new Vivo S18e will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. It has a flat-screen and a center-aligned punch hole.

 

The device is now powered by Dimensity 7200 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It features a 50MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 2MP depth sensor on the back. On the front, the smartphone ships with a 16MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

It packs a 4600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 on top. It measures 7.69mm thick and weighs 193g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.

Pricing:

The new Vivo S18e costs 2099 Yuan (Rs.25,000/-) for 12GB+256GB, and 2299 Yuan (Rs.27,300/-) for 12GB+512GB in China. Vivo S18 and S18 Pro are available in white, green, and black colors.

The Vivo S18 with 8GB+256GB costs 2299 Yuan (Rs.27,300/-), 12GB+256GB at 2599 Yuan (Rs.30,400/-) whereas the 12GB+512GB at 2799 Yuan (Rs.32,700/-). The Vivo S18 Pro with 12GB+256GB at 3199 Yuan (Rs.38,100/-) & 16GB+256GB at 3499 Yuan (Rs.41,800/-). The Vivo S18 Pro with 16GB+512GB at 3699 Yuan (Rs.44,000/-) in China.
