Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G in Vietnam. By their schedule, the duo is now in India.
Both of these 5G smartphones are within the company’s new budget range. There are two successors to the Galaxy A24 5G and Galaxy A14 5G.
Design:
The Galaxy A25 5G & Galaxy A15 series has rounded corners, slim bezels, and a thick chin at the bottom. It’ll also have the same rear design we’ve seen on almost all Samsung phones in 2023, with three camera sensors vertically aligned at the top left corner and a Samsung logo at the bottom. It’ll have a water drop notch on the front.
There’s also a power button and volume rockers on the right side, and the SIM tray on the left. There are four color options: Blue, Black, Yellow, Light Blue, and Blue. It’ll weigh 197 grams and measure 161.0 x 76.5 x 8.3mm.
Galaxy A25 5G:
The new Galaxy A25 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The notch carries a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy A25 features triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture with OIS. There is an 8MP Ultra-wide, along with a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Android 14 with One UI 6 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side.
There will be four years of OS updates and five years of security updates. Samsung Knox security and Samsung Pay will also be included. The Galaxy A25 5G has stereo speakers despite being a budget device. It measures 8.3mm thick & weighs 197g.
Galaxy A15 5G:
The new Galaxy A15 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The notch carries a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy A15 features triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, along with a 5MP ultra-wide & 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Galaxy A15 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side. The Galaxy A15 5G arrives in Black and blue colors.
Pricing:
Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is available in two storage variants: 8GB+128GB for Rs 19,499 and 8GB+256GB for Rs 22,499. The Galaxy A25 5G 8GB+128GB variant costs 26,999 rupees, while the 8GB+256GB variant costs 29,999 rupees. There are three color options available for the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G & A25 5G: light blue, light black, and blue.
