OnePlus is expected to launch its Ace 3 smartphone in China soon. Specifications of the device have leaked online ahead of its official announcement. According to reports, it will have a similar display to the flagship OnePlus 12, which launched earlier this month.

The Ace 3 will be the successor to the Ace 2, which was unveiled in February. In India and other international markets, the OnePlus Ace 3 has been rebranded as the OnePlus 12R.

The new OnePlus 12R aka Ace 3 will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X1 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a metal mid-frame chassis, according to the tipster.

The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus 12R will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 32MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and LED flash. There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.

The OnePlus Ace 3 packs a massive 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.0 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
