OnePlus will unveil its Ace 3 series smartphones next month. OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to launch on January 4 in China, according to reports. The brand has released a new teaser for the Ace 3 smartphone, though a launch date is yet to be confirmed.
The OnePlus Ace 3 will launch in a new color, according to OnePlus China’s president, Li Jie Louis. The new color could be pink, according to rumors. The phone will also come in grey and blue colors, according to reports. OnePlus Ace 3 will also feature the same watch-style carvings as the OnePlus 12, according to the teaser.
Further, the brand has also released the new teaser video which shows the first look of the new OnePlus Ace 3.
Design:
The new OnePlus Ace will look exactly similar to the OnePlus 12 and come with the same huge circular camera module carrying triple rear cameras. The LED flash is now located over the top of the camera module similar to the OnePlus 12. The power button & volume rockers are on the right & alert slider is on the left of the device. The IR blaster along with a secondary mic on the top & speaker mesh with a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
OnePlus Ace 3/OnePlus 12R:
The new OnePlus 12R aka Ace 3 will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X1 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a metal mid-frame chassis.
The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus 12R will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor and LED flash. There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The OnePlus Ace 3 packs a massive 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.0 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
