Recently, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone in China, which has become quite a sensation. AnTuTu lists the device as the top performer, and the brand is also having trouble keeping up with demand. According to DCS, the brand is gearing up to launch another Ace series device soon.

As per DCS, the upcoming OnePlus Ace smartphone will also be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. As a result, this device may be the vanilla OnePlus Ace 3. The rest of the spec sheet matches the leaked specs sheet of the upcoming OnePlus 12R, indicating that the OnePlus Ace 3 will likely be a rebranded 12R.

According to DCS, the device will feature a 6.74-inch punch-hole OLED display with curved edges, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. Additionally, the display will support high-frequency PMM dimming.

It will come with either 16GB or 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and either 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage under the hood. Chinese Android smartphone trends indicate that a 24GB + 1TB configuration is not impossible.

This device will feature a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor. There will also be an 8MP ultra-wide lens from OmniVision OV8D10, as well as a 32MP telephoto camera using an IMX709 sensor. The optical zoom on this telephoto camera might be up to 2x. The device is also expected to be equipped with a big battery of 5,500mAh and support fast charging at 100W.
