Galaxy Tab A9 tablets are expected to be launched soon by Samsung. Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ are rumored to be part of the lineup. A popular benchmarking platform spotted the base model of the series before any official announcement.

A mid-range tablet from the South Korean tech giant has been spotted on GeekBench. According to the listing, the Galaxy Tab A9 has a CPU with six cores clocked at 2.00GHz and two cores clocked at 2.20GHz. Additionally, this processor is paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The MediaTek Helio G99 SoC is likely to power the device based on this description.

GeekBench also confirmed that the new tablet will run Android 13 OS out of the box and feature 4GB of RAM. In the single-core test, the device scored 735 points. The multi-core results, however, had a score of 1,766 points. This is also in line with our previous report, which claimed that the tablet would feature the Helio G99 processor.

According to BIS, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will also be fueled by a large 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. This product has yet to be officially announced by the brand, but its certifications indicate that its launch is imminent.
