Nokia G42 5G has been launched in India by HMD Global as scheduled. As well as being one of the most affordable 5G smartphones on the market, it is the second Nokia-branded device in the country.

According to the company, this product is durable and environmentally friendly. Despite its low price, it comes with a compelling set of features.

Specs:

The new Nokia G42 sports 6.56 inches HD+ IPS LCD punch-hole 90Hz refresh rate display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Nokia G42 with SD480+ SoC is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.

The Nokia G42 features triple cameras with a 50MP main sensor. It comes with a dual 2MP macro plus depth sensor with LED flash. It features an 8MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes a USB Type-C port, Wifi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE support, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS, and GLONASS with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 20W charge support. The Nokia G42 runs on Android 13 OS.

As well, the Nokia G42 has a back cover made from 65% recycled materials, and was drop-tested for 14 sides, corners, edges, and faces, as well as undergoing more than twice as many drop tests as the G50 model, indicating a design designed to last without compromise.

Pricing:

The Nokia G42 5G is available in India with a 6GB + 128GB memory configuration. It costs only ₹12,599.

There are two color options available: So Purple and So Grey. From September 15 at 12 p.m., the handset will be available for purchase.
