The upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup leaks will likely increase after Samsung’s foldables are out of the way. A design change is rumored for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ today.
The side frame is likely to be flattened to match the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 looks, according to Samsung tipster Ice Universe. Currently, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ have flat backs but a slightly bulging middle frame.
Given the trend towards flat design and sharp edges for the past few years, perhaps the decision is influenced by external factors. Samsung believes that this would further improve the Galaxy S24 design regardless of trends.
However, the report does not mention the Galaxy S24 Ultra at all, so just like in the Galaxy S lineups so far, the Ultra may follow a different path. In order to make the Ultra model more easily recognizable, Samsung usually alters the design slightly.
