Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Watch 3 Active for India at the Redmi 12 series launch event. A few weeks ago, the product was unveiled in a select few global markets.

Similarly, other cheap wearables that look like smartwatches are merely fitness trackers. It is, however, more affordable than a proper smartwatch and looks attractive.

Specs:

Due to its square design, the Redmi Watch 3 Active resembles the Apple Watch. Featuring a 1.83-inch LCD display with 240 x 280 pixels and 450 nits of brightness, it comes with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels. Over 200 watch faces can be displayed on the screen.

With its metal middle frame, the wearable looks and feels premium. Water-resistant (5 ATM), it can be worn in rain and near water.

An optical heart rate sensor and an oxygen saturation sensor are included in the device. Health features include sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and more. There are also over 100 fitness modes to choose from.

A speaker and a microphone are included with the product, which can also be used for making and receiving calls. Compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones, it connects via Bluetooth 5.3.

Furthermore, Xiaomi claims a battery life of 12 days with light usage and 8 days with heavy usage.

In India, the Redmi Watch 3 Active costs 2,999 (for a limited time only). There are two color options available: Platinum Grey and Charcoal Black.

On August 3rd, Mi.com and retail stores will offer the wearable for the first time.
