Having launched the Oppo Watch 3 series last year, the brand is working on a successor. According to a report earlier this week, the Oppo Watch 5 series will launch along with the Oppo Find N3, N3 Flip, and Pad Air 2. Oppo Watch 5 Pro specs and features have been leaked in a new report.
The upcoming Oppo Watch 5 Pro is suspected to be equipped with a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC, according to a recent Weibo post from the known tipster DCS. Additionally, the smartwatch will feature a curved glass display with LTPO AMOLED technology. There is also a 570 mAh battery and LTE connectivity through an eSIM on the smartwatch.
Along with these features, the smartwatch will feature a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen levels, GPS capability for accurate location-based services, and NFC functionality for quick and secure payments.
A highly anticipated feature of Wear OS is that it is Google’s custom operating system for smartwatches. The watch will be able to access a wide variety of smartwatch-specific applications. Furthermore, it will have access to Google Assistant onboard, making it even more convenient.
