“Wonderlust,” Apple’s upcoming launch event, is scheduled for September 12. At this event, Apple will unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 15 lineup. There have been a number of reports surfacing online as the date of the event draws near. According to a recent report, Apple AirPods will now have a USB-C charging case instead of a lightning connector.

Bloomberg reported recently that Apple will launch the new iPhone 15 and smartwatches at its upcoming event. During this event, Apple is also expected to announce AirPods with a USB-C charging case. It is still unclear whether the company will introduce a new generation of AirPods or update the current ones to support USB-C.

Apple’s high-end AirPods Pro 2 will support USB-C, according to earlier reports. An analyst known as Ming-Chi Kuo provided this report. A USB-C port might be used on the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

The company is actively seeking to expand its domestic component base, so India is likely to be a suitable manufacturing hub. In the coming years, Apple is expected to manufacture about seven percent of its iPhones in India.
