Since January 2022, Samsung has not released a Galaxy FE smartphone. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S23 FE will debut later this year. Samsung reportedly plans to launch a new Galaxy FE phone later this year. A new listing of the Galaxy S23 FE 5G on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) revealed some details shortly after the confirmation.

Samsung has confirmed to Android Authority that a Galaxy FE smartphone is on the way.

The executive replied, before laughing, “There’s a gap the size of an FE in there right now.”. “We will make an announcement shortly.”. Soon.” The Galaxy S23 FE (or whatever it’s called) is indeed on its way, and we could see a launch or confirmation of one soon.

In the company’s portfolio, there is an FE-sized gap between the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S23. It is expected to have an Exynos 2200 chipset, but we have also heard reports of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, so we might see different chips in different markets.

In the listing, Samsung reveals the moniker and model number of its upcoming smartphone. WPC lists the Galaxy S23 FE as SM-S711U. The device also supports wireless charging. WPC tested a variant of the device with 4.4W of wireless charging. It is likely that the device will support faster wireless charging. In comparison, the Galaxy S21 FE supports 15W wireless charging. For the Galaxy S23 FE, the same can be expected.

The listing also includes an image of the front of the phone, which shows the bezels around the display. The right edge of the phone also has power and volume buttons.

Other details of the phone have leaked in the past. According to design renders leaked a month ago, the device will look similar to the flagship S23 series. There is a triple-camera setup and an LED flash on the back of the phone. On the back, each camera sensor is enclosed in a circular cutout.
