Earlier this year, Vivo launched the Vivo X90 smartphone in China with the Dimensity 9200 SoC. It has now released the Vivo X90s smartphone as a mid-cycle refresh with the new Dimensity 9200+ processor, along with other improvements like WiFi 7.

Design:

The device still features four sensors on the flat back, along with a large, circular camera island. The display has a slight curve with bezels tucked away on the sides. Slim and symmetrical bezels cover the top and bottom of the screen. The Vivo X90s will measure 9.3mm thick and weighs around 215g. There are four color options available for the device: black, red, green, and white.

Specs:

The new Vivo X90S will sport the same 6.78 inches 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9200+ SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage options.

The new Vivo X90S features a 50MP main Sony IMX866 sensor with an aperture of f/1.75 coupled with a 12MP portrait sensor with an f/1.6 aperture that gets 2x optical zoom support. Lastly, there is a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter. It will come with a V2 dedicated ISP chip along with Zeiss T* coating ZEISS optics.

The Vivo X90s is packed with a 4810 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support & 50W wireless charging. It runs on Android 13 OS with FunTouch OS 13 on top.

Pricing:

The Vivo X90s with 8GB+256GB cost 3999 Yuan (Rs.45,500/-), 12GB+256GB at 4299 Yuan (Rs.48,800/-) & 12GB+512GB at 4699 Yuan (Rs.53,500/-) in China. Orders for the phone are now being taken and it will go on sale in China on June 30th.
