It’s expected that Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event near the end of July. Several devices are expected to be demonstrated at this event, including the highly anticipated Galaxy Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9 series, and Watch 6 series. Samsung requested that leaked renders of the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets be removed due to a formal request. The display specifications of these tablets have now been revealed in a new leak.

Several key changes are coming to the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup, according to Twitter user Ahmed Qwaider. The Galaxy Tab S9 series will be equipped with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, instead of LCD and Super AMOLED panels as in the Galaxy Tab S8 line. By switching from LCD and Super AMOLED to Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, the contrast ratios will be enhanced as well as HDR functionality will be improved.

While the Galaxy Tab S9 series’ displays have been upgraded, all models will retain the 120 Hz refresh rate of their predecessors. Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S9 will feature an 11-inch display, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus will have a 12.4-inch display, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will have a 14.6-inch display.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to introduce a battery capacity upgrade for the entry-level model, according to recent leaks. Galaxy Tab S9 is expected to feature a battery capacity of 8,400 mAh, one mAh more than its predecessor, Galaxy Tab S8. As for the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, their battery capacities are expected to remain at 10,900 mAh and 11,200 mAh, respectively.
