Samsung offers a variety of foldable smartphones, with the Galaxy Z Fold being one of the most popular. Even though foldable smartphones have gained traction, they remain out of reach for most users due to their high cost.

Samsung is expected to price its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphone lower than its predecessor, Galaxy Z Fold 4.

A report from Revegnus suggests the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will cost $1,699, a $100 decrease from the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s launch price. Currently, this is just a rumor, so you should take it with a grain of salt.

The image is shown in Blue as the first color option. There will also be more color options available from the company. As with the previous model, Samsung may sell the S Pen separately in the future.

The placement of the USB Type-C port, speaker grills, and microphone arrangements are similar to the last generation device. There is also a triple rear camera setup on the back, which is similar to the Galaxy Fold 4. The image shows that the Galaxy Fold 5 might have a slimmer bezel than the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which will increase the screen-to-body ratio and provide an immersive viewing experience.

Aside from these details, we don’t know much about the device from the image. With the exception of the slimmer bezel, the design is quite similar to the predecessor. Samsung will not be releasing a major design overhaul this year.
