According to the FCC website, Redmi is preparing for the release of its Redmi Pad 2. Now that the tablet’s performance details have surfaced on Geekbench, its specifications have been leaked online.

The Redmi Pad 2 (model number 23073RPBFC) appeared on Geekbench ahead of its official launch. According to the listing, the tablet will have an octa-core processor capable of running four cores at 2.40GHz and the remaining four cores at 1.90GHz. Interestingly, the Bengal chipset indicates that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor will power the Redmi Pad 2. Due to the fact that the previous Redmi Pad featured the more powerful MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the Snapdragon 680 is perceived as a downgrade.

The device has 4GB of RAM and runs Android 13. Geekbench 6’s single-core test yielded 415 points and its multi-core test yielded 1411 points. The listing on Geekbench does not provide any additional information about the Redmi Pad 2.

Specs:

According to DCS, the Redmi Pad 2 will have a display between 10 and 11 inches. This screen will have a 2K resolution IPS LCD and a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s rumored to have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The Redmi Pad 2 will reportedly have a Snapdragon 680 processor. The phone will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Pad 2 is an entry-level model. We don’t know anything else about the upcoming offering. Based on the leaked specs, it looks like the Redmi Pad 2 is an incremental upgrade.
