Despite the fact that the Nothing Phone (2) will be officially unveiled next month, you can have a sneak peek right now thanks to @OnLeaks and Smartprix. Glyph light strips and a transparent back make the company’s new design instantly recognizable as “Nothing”.

There are, however, a few key changes. A larger display has been confirmed for the company’s second smartphone (up from 6.55″), and ergonomics have changed as well.

There is a slight curve to the aluminum sides of the new design, even the glass panels on the front and back. Compared to the Phone (1), which has squared-off sides and a flat front and back, the Phone (2) has rounded corners.

Glyph’s light strips are now segmented. Users could have more fine-grain control over the system, which serves as a notification light, status indicator, and something to add some coolness. There may be some small tweaks to the final design since the renders are based on a unit from the testing stage.

The Nothing Phone (2) will likely keep its dual-camera setup, as major tweaks are unlikely. There are now two LEDs instead of just one in the flash, but that’s the only change.

The Phone (2) will move upmarket with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but it will remain in the midrange instead of taking on flagships.
