As promised, Xiaomi has announced the Civi 3, the company’s latest smartphone in the Civi series. Featuring a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 12-bit OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and Dolby Vision, the phone has a Full HD+ 12-bit OLED screen.

Design:

The Xiaomi Civi 3 features an eye-catching dual-tone aesthetic on the back, allowing users to choose between four delightful color variants: Rose Purple, Mint Green, Adventure Gold, and Coconut Ash. In the top left corner of the screen, you’ll find a prominent camera module housing all three lenses. In order to achieve an elegant and polished appearance, the camera island is elegantly encircled by a metal ring that perfectly matches the color of the rear panel. Just below the camera ring is the flash module.

The Xiaomi Civi 3’s edges blend flat and curved contours seamlessly, gracefully tapering from both ends to provide users with a satisfying and ergonomic grip. With only 7.56mm thick and weighing just 173 grams, this device is extremely slim.

This device is powered by an octa-core 4nm Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor and a Mali-G610 GPU. The smartphone has a 6.55-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a brightness of 1500 nits, a DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs MIUI 14 out of the box.

The Civi 3 features a triple-camera setup at the back. The camera setup includes a Sony IMX800 sensor with a 50MP resolution, f/1.77 aperture, and OIS. The camera also features an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, as well as a 2MP macro lens. A pill-shaped cutout on the front of the device houses a dual selfie camera. There is a 32MP primary lens with an aperture of f/2.0 and autofocus on the front-facing camera. On the front side, there is also a 32MP secondary camera. EIS is supported by this 32MP ultra-wide angle lens and it has an aperture of f/2.4.

Both the front-facing and rear-facing cameras are capable of recording 4K videos at 30 fps. It has a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The handset has several connectivity features such as 5G, 4G, dual-SIM slots, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Lastly, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res wireless audio.
