Oppo F23 5G launched in India today as scheduled. Since there was no Oppo F21 last year, it replaces the Oppo F19.

In some markets, Oppo F series smartphones are called Oppo A series phones. In Malaysia, Oppo A98 5G was launched last week as the A series version of F23 5G.

As a result, we already knew the handset’s specifications before it was officially announced.

Specs:

The Oppo F23 5G will sport 6.72 inches FHD+ (2400 x 1080p) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner & HDR10 support. Oppo F23 5G comes with the same SD695 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage space.

The Oppo F23 5G will feature triple rear cameras with 108MP (f/1.8) main sensor. It is coupled with dual 2MP (f/2.4) depth plus macro sensors with LED flash. There is a 32MP (f/2.5) selfie shooter on the front.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G, 5G, and VoLTE support. It comes with Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NavIC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1. There is also a microSD card slot on the smartphone that can be used to expand storage.

All this is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 OS based on OxygenOS 13 on top. It measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 195g.

In India, the Oppo F23 5G is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is available in either Bold Gold or Cool Black colors.

The Oppo F23 5G will cost Rs.24,999/- in India and is currently available for pre-orders via the Oppo website, Amazon & all leading retailers.
