After lots of leaks and rumors now finally we have the official launch details for the new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. Yes, Motorola will finally launch the new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra for Global regions soon as per the new teaser. So finally the foldable will no longer be exclusive to China.

As per the teaser, the new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be launching globally on June 1, 2023. Sadly, no word about the cheaper Motorola Razr 40 at the moment but might launch on the same date. Evan Blass shared some official-looking renders of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra a few days back. His latest leak shows a detailed look at the design and specifications of the highly anticipated Motorola Razr 40 Ultra.

According to the leaked images, the front cover display features dual rear cameras as well as an LED flash. A larger cover display allows users to manage notifications conveniently. As with Samsung’s foldable phones, the device can be placed in standby mode with its foldable clamshell design.

On the side of the smartphone are volume and power buttons, and the promo images also reveal the themes available for the cover display. The cover display will allow users to take selfies.

There is a hole punch cutout for the front camera on the device’s curved display. Additionally, the promo images show the available color variants: Magenta, Black, and White.

Now the Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra comes with 6.2 inches AMOLED HDR display with a resolution of 2640×1080 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Now the Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra display slides back into the frame to avoid damage when you fold the device. Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra packs a larger 3.5 inches (1056×1066 pixels) Glass OLED outer display which is perfect to shoot a selfie.

The new Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra is powered by SD 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage. The new Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra features a 12MP Sony IMX563 outer camera with an aperture of f/1.88 with OIS coupled with a 13MP SK Hynix Hi1336 macro/wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. One can use the outer display to click the selfie which was missing from the predecessor.

The device comes with Dual SIM support with 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, WLAN, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and IPX8 certification. The Motorola RAZR 5G packs a lower 3500 mAh battery with a 33W fast charger. Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra runs on Android 13 OS.
