Xiaomi 12S Ultra was the flagship with the best camera when it arrived, but it remained exclusive to China. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will change that since it was just confirmed to arrive in global markets this month.

On Xiaomi’s Weibo page and on Leica’s Twitter profile, the company confirmed the Leica partnership will continue for the new Ultra. A new Summicron lens will be included in this first-in-the-world camera system.

IMDA, Singapore’s communications regulator, also approved the phone with model number 2304FPN6DG. According to the listing, the phone will have 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. We are excited about the fact that it is being prepared for an international launch.

In the following days, Xiaomi will likely start teasing more about the phone, including the large camera island that should be even bigger than the 12S Ultra.

A picture of the alleged Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which is still covered by a protective case, has been shared anonymously by a visitor. According to the leaked image of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the device’s camera is one of its most notable features.

It has multiple openings for cameras and other sensors; four of them are for cameras, including a periscope telephoto lens. A circular housing on the raised upper part of the back houses the camera system, along with the rear microphone, flash, and focusing sensor.

It will also have an opening on top for a loudspeaker, as well as microphones and two other openings. Based on these details, Xiaomi is aiming to develop a smartphone that caters to both photography and videography enthusiasts, as well as tech-savvy users.

In addition to a 50MP main camera, Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also feature an ultra-wide-angle lens, periscopic zoom lens, and telephoto lens, with up to 10x optical zoom.
