The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, a camera behemoth in the world of smartphones, will be officially launched on April 18. It was already announced that it would happen this month and the date has now been set.

As shown in the images, it will once again feature a giant circular camera island, but this time with four separate shooters. Its strategic partnership with Leica will make the 13 Ultra “a cut above” its competitors.

In a smartphone, Leica Vario-Summicron lenses will be used, and by the writing between the lenses, we assume the main camera will be f/1.8 in front, and f/3.0 for the telephoto. The left side of the camera island has a dual LED flash, which differs from all the renders.

According to yesterday’s renders, the phone has flat sides, but the display has 2.5D curved sides. In terms of specs, we expect to see a Sony IMX989 sensor for the 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide-angle sensor, and two 50MP telephoto cameras – one with a periscope lens underneath and the other for portraits.

In China, the event will begin at 7 PM, in London at noon, and in India at 4:30 PM. We might see launch dates and prices for the international markets since it is a global launch.
