This quarter, Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 10 series in China. It may break cover in May or June, according to some reports. In the days leading up to the launch, rumors have slowly been revealing details about the Reno 10 family. The names of the chipsets that will power Reno 10 were revealed today by tipster.

Digital Chat Station predicts that the Reno 10 series will have three chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 778G, the Dimensity 8200, and the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. In place of the Snapdragon 7-series chipsets, Oppo may have used the Snapdragon 778G, which was announced in 2021, to power the Reno 10.

It’s likely that the Reno 10 Pro will feature the Dimensity 8200, which went official in the fourth quarter of last year. Reno 10 Pro+, the most powerful device in the series, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip in 2022.

Oppo launched the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+ in November 2022. It was powered by Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 8100-Max, and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. According to the new leak, only the Reno 10 Pro will receive a chip upgrade.

There are reports that the Reno 10 series will feature a periscope zoom camera. Reno 10 Pro+ is most likely to feature the lens. The Pro+ is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8MPĀ  ultra-wide lens. Lastly, there is a 64MP periscope zoom camera. Whether it will be available on the Pro model remains to be seen.
