ASUS is preparing to launch its latest generation gaming phone, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series, on April 13th. An all-out Android flagship smartphone could soon begin selling in India as part of the launch. Tipster Yogesh Brar claims to have revealed the indicative pricing of the ASUS ROG Phone 7, the vanilla variant of the gaming smartphone, ahead of its official launch.

Brar’s post indicates that the ASUS ROG Phone 7 will cost between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000. Since the ROG Phone 6, its predecessor, was launched at Rs 71,999, this doesn’t come as a surprise, since Brar has also predicted the new phone to be in the same price range. This leaves open the possibility of the ROG Phone 7 being incrementally more expensive, although it is unclear whether this will happen.

Based on the expected specification sheet posted by Brar along with the pricing, it seems unlikely that ASUS will make drastic changes to its predecessor.
