OnePlus announced earlier this month that it will launch a new Ace smartphone powered by a Dimensity chip. Yesterday, OnePlus announced the Ace 2V would launch in China at 2:30 PM on March 7.
Also on its official website, OnePlus posted a video showing the Ace 2V’s design and color options.
Design:
There will be two color options for the OnePlus Ace 2V: Black Rock and Celadon Glaze (green). The teaser video shows the handset sporting a flat display with a central punch-hole. There are three holes on the top edge of the phone, which could be microphones, speakers, and IR blasters.
A volume rocker is located on the left side of the OnePlus Ace 2V, while an alert slider and a power key are located on the right side. On the bottom edge of the phone are a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille.
On the Ace 2V’s back shell, the primary camera is located in the first camera ring. The second camera ring houses the other two cameras. Both LED flash units are available along with the two camera rings. The key specifications of the device have not been confirmed by OnePlus.
If AnTuTu is to be believed, the Ace 2V will have a Dimensity 9000 SoC, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and Android 13. There will also be a 120Hz screen on the Ace 2V.
According to rumors, the OnePlus Ace 2V will share the same specs as the Ace 2, except that it will have a Dimensity 9000 chip and 64MP primary camera.
OnePlus will reveal more details about the Ace 2V over the next week to build hype for the launch.
