As its new mid-range smartphone, OPPO is also rumored to be working on the Reno 8T. The brand has not yet announced a launch date. OPPO Reno 8T details have been revealed in a new leak.
OPPO will launch the Reno 8T in India as part of the F23 series, according to tipster Paras Guglani. In India, the smartphone is likely to be launched as the OPPO F23 5G. OPPO’s smartphone design was also revealed in an image uploaded by Guglani.
Design:
At the front, the phone has a curved screen. The top center of the device features a hole-punch cutout. It also has a fairly thin chin and top bezel.
Volume keys are located on the left edge of the phone, and the power button is located on the right edge. The rear panel has a gold finish and features two large circular cutouts with pill-shaped cutouts. On top, there is a single lens, while on the bottom, there is an LED flash and a couple of tiny cutouts. It appears that one of the two smaller circular cutouts houses the secondary sensor, while the other appears to be a dummy.
Specs:
There will be two variants of Reno 8T one with 4G other with 5G support. The new Oppo Reno 8T 5G & 4G will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ OLED 10-bit display on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate. The new Oppo Reno 8T 5G is powered by SD695 SoC whereas the Reno 8T 4G with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
Both of them come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. The Reno 8 T 5G features triple cameras with 108MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. No word about the Reno 8T 4G camera details at the moment.
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G packs a 4800 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support whereas the Reno 8T 4G with 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charge. Both the devices run on Android 13 OS with ColorOS 13 on top.
BIS also spotted the Oppo Reno 8T 4G variant. In India, Oppo launches the Global Reno T series under a different name than the Reno T series. In India, it might launch as Oppo F23 or F22 under the Oppo F series, whereas Oppo Reno 8T 5G might launch as Oppo F23 Pro under BIS Indian certification.
