Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 smartphone series is now available in China and India. It is expected to arrive in other markets in the next few weeks. Additionally, the company is said to be developing new Redmi Note models for release in China a few months from now. Redmi Note model details have been tipped by a Chinese tipster.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ in May 2022. This powerful mid-range phone comes with an LCD panel and a fingerprint scanner on the side.

According to new leaks, the upcoming Redmi Note series phone will have an OLED display with a fingerprint sensor integrated. The same tipster also claimed that the device would be equipped with a Snapdragon 7-series processor.

It is possible that the tipster is referring to the rumored Redmi Note 12 Turbo.

As per previous leaks, the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be the first smartphone to ship with the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC. The device will arrive with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.

It features triple rear cameras with 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will pack a 5500 mAh large battery with 67W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.

More details about the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be out in the coming weeks. Looks like this smartphone will probably land under the Redmi K60 series or POCO F5 for the Indian market.
