Xiaomi is reportedly developing the Xiaomi Pad 6 series of flagship tablets. Numerous reports have speculated that the Xiaomi Pad 6 lineup will launch in China this year, after the Pad 5 series debuted in 2021. It appears, however, that it will break cover in 2023 as the year draws to a close. Xiaomi Pad 6 launch date revealed in Weibo poster by tipster Digital Chat Station.

Xiaomi Pad 6 series will be released at the beginning of Q2 2023, according to the tipster. Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, is also developing a new tablet, but no details were provided.

Pad 6 Pro and Pad 6 are said to have different codenames, such as Pipa and Liuqin. There are rumors that the former will feature the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the latter will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.

Both tablets have 11- to 12-inch displays with narrow bezels, according to the tipster. On both models, there will be a dual-camera setup in the upper-left corner. Dual-cell batteries appear to be included in both devices.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro may remain exclusive to the Chinese market. As for the Xiaomi Pad 6, it is likely to be released in China, India, and the global market.
