Even though Apple launched the iPhone 14 series just two months ago, there have already been rumors and reports regarding the iPhone 15. According to a new report, the company is putting more effort into attracting customers to its Pro series models.

After the strong sales of the iPhone 14 Pro series, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the Cupertino-based giant will push more buyers towards higher-end smartphone models. The next-generation iPhone 15 models will apparently come with many exclusive Pro-only features. At the moment, five of these exclusive features have been reported and rumored, so let’s take a closer look.

New features will likely include the latest A17 Bionic chipset. TSMC’s 3nm process is expected to be used for the iPhone 15 Pro’s A17 chip. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will feature the same A16 Bionic chipset as the iPhone 14 Pro model. In addition to the USB Type C port, iPhones in 2023 will have a Lightning connector that will enhance charging and data transfer speeds.

In addition to this, the iPhone 15 Pro models will also have an increased 8GB of RAM, which will be higher than the 6GB RAM that the company currently offers. Another notable Pro feature is solid-state buttons, which we had previously reported on. It is rumored that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature two additional Taptic Engines for haptic feedback, even though the buttons aren’t actually pressed. The iPhone 15 Pro Max might also feature a periscopic telephoto lens with a 10x optical zoom.
