A new budget smartphone has been launched in India, the Vivo Y22. The latest Y-series phone features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual camera sensors in a rectangular module.
There will be two options for the Vivo Y22 in India: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The new Vivo Y22 with 4GB+64GB cost Rs 14,499/- and Rs 16,499/- for 6GB+128GB.
Starlight Blue and Metaverse Green will be the color options for the handset. The launch offers include flat Rs.1000/- cashback for SBI Bank, Kotak Bank, and OneCard credit card users. Online buyers will get flat Rs.750 off.
Vivo Y22:
Vivo Y22 will arrive with a similar design as the Vivo Y22s but slightly different internals. The Vivo Y22 will feature a waterdrop display on the front and triple rear cameras on the back. Looks like Vivo taking the design of the iQOO Z6 series too seriously for its future smartphones as the new Vivo Y22 comes with a similar camera module.
The Vivo Y22 sport 6.55 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The new Vivo Y22 comes with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. It measures 8.38 mm thick and weighs 182g.
The new Vivo Y22 comes with the same set of dual rear cameras with a 50MP main and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. Again Vivo Y22 ships with an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The Vivo Y22 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack. Vivo Y22 runs on Android 12 with Fun TouchOS 12.1 on top.
