Redmi A1 and Redmi 11 Prime 5G were announced earlier this month by Xiaomi in India. As an entry-level device, the Redmi A1 offers budget specs with stock Android 12 instead of Xiaomi’s usual MIUI skin.
The Redmi A1+ will be the next Redmi A smartphone after the Redmi A1. It has previously appeared on various certification sites, confirming its existence. Redmi A1+ renders and full specs are available today.

Design:

From the leaked renders, the Redmi A1+ will be very similar to the Redmi A1. The only major difference between the two phones is the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner on the back of the Redmi A1+. Apart from that, both devices will have the same specs and designs.

Specs:

The new Redmi A1+ will sport 6.52 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

 

It features an 8MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
