The Xiaomi 12T series is rumoured to launch soon. Xiaomi launched its 11T series last October, and it is expected to refresh its T-series around the same time. Xiaomi has not yet announced the official launch date for its 12T series. Before the launch, our sources shared some exclusive details about the 12T series.
In the near future, Xiaomi will launch the 12T series. The two premium smartphones’ pricing details can be found on MySmartPrice ahead of their launch. According to Tipster Ambhore, the Xiaomi 12T Pro and Xiaomi 12T will both have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The two devices will be available in three colours: silver, black, and blue. In terms of price, the vanilla Xiaomi 12T 5G is expected to cost between €600 – €620 (Rs 48,700 to Rs 50,400). As for the Xiaomi 12T Pro 5G, it will cost about €800 – €820 (Rs 65,000 to Rs 66,700). There will be a much lower price for the devices in India.
As per the leaks, the new Xiaomi 12T turns out to be a mid-range smartphone and not the flagship after all. The new Xiaomi 12T will sport 6.7 inches QHD+ (1220 x 2712p) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The device will also come with HDR0+ & an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Sadly, the new Xiaomi 12T will be powered by Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. The device features triple rear cameras with a 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens with LED flash. It comes with a 20MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
All this is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support. It runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
According to rumours, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and 120W fast charging. As for the 12T Pro, it will be the same as the 12T.
Xiaomi’s 12T series is expected to be released in India and other global markets in the near future. In China, Redmi is expected to release the Redmi K50s and K50s Pro before the 12T lineup goes official. Xiaomi’s 12T and 12T Pro will be rebranded as K50s.
