In the coming weeks, Xiaomi will launch its new T-series smartphones. Global markets will be served by the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro, which will be launched in the next few months. These devices will replace the Xiaomi 11T series. There is no official date for the launch yet. An upcoming Xiaomi smartphone has been revealed in a new report.

The Xiaomi 12T is slated to launch as a new premium smartphone very soon. Before the phone’s official launch, key specs have been leaked. As per the report, the 12T will be equipped with a Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC. The chipset is reportedly an improved version of the 5nm Dimensity 8100, but little is known about its specifics.

According to the report, the 12T will come with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Also, the screen resolution has been bumped up to 1220 x 2712 pixels. In addition to an OLED display, it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

There will be three cameras on the back. An ISOCELL HM6 108MP sensor will be featured on the phone. This camera is equipped with an ultra-wide angle 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 sensor and a macro 2MP sensor. The main camera has a 1.67-inch sensor. The selfie camera will feature a Sony IMX596 sensor with 20MP.

The battery size is unknown. The phone will support 67W/120W fast charging out of the box. Battery capacity is expected to be 5,000mAh. XiaomiUI expects to launch the phone in September 2022.
