In addition to his ever-expanding portfolio, Poco has worked on a couple of new mid-rangers. The brand will unveil its products in an online event scheduled for 8 PM Beijing time on September 5.
As the brand makes no secret, the Poco M5 and the Poco M5s are the devices being discussed. There is a good chance that one of these will be the previously teased smartphone powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. According to past rumours, that will be the Poco M5.
Besides the 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD screen, the phone is believed to have a 33W fast charging battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and three storage options: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB. MIUI 13 will be installed on top of Android 12. Rumour has it that the M5 will begin at under INR 15,000 in India.
Meanwhile, the M5s will be available in three colours – grey, blue, and white – and it will have the same storage options as its sibling.
